Our participating seniors are receiving a monthly commodity food supplemental box. The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) works to improve the health of low-income elderly persons at least 60 years of age by supplementing their diets with nutritious USDA Foods.
Through our partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank we are able to distribute CSFP boxes to those who qualify. In addition to the CSFP box, we provide our seniors with an additional bag or box of food with non-perishable and perishable food items.
